Emma joined DFA Law in November 2021. She has gained a wealth of knowledge in family law having worked in family law since 2006, and qualifying as solicitor in 2012.
Emma deals with all aspects of family law, including domestic abuse, cohabitation, divorce proceedings and finances arising from divorce. She has a particular interest in private law children matters, and has been involved in many complex cases involving children.
Emma takes a sympathetic yet robust approach to cases. She appreciates the sensitive nature of family law cases and is able to guide clients through a difficult time in order to achieve the best outcome for them. She regularly attends court to conduct advocacy.
As a member of Resolution, Emma is committed to a constructive and non-confrontational approach to family law and is also a Family Law Accredited specialist of the Law Society.
Emma is a Domestic Abuse Champion for Oxfordshire (since 2018) and previously ran a domestic abuse advice clinic with a local charity.
