Acquisition of Sharma Solicitors
In early 2025, DFA Law commenced negotiations to acquire the practice of Sharma Solicitors from owner Paul Sharma. Tragically, Paul passed away from a sudden terminal illness in early spring. He left behind his wife Genevieve and their children, Alexandre and Elise.
Despite various challenges, DFA Law formally completed the acquisition on 30th September 2025. In doing so, we believe we have helped Paul’s family in securing Paul’s legacy and provided some comfort knowing that the clients Paul worked with for many years will continue to be well looked after and represented.
Our huge thanks go to Genevieve and also solicitor Lillian Caller for their help and resolve in reaching a completion.
To the existing and former clients of Sharma Solicitors, we look forward to continuing to provide you with excellent support with all employment-related matters and further developing relationships over time. If you have not already been contacted, you soon will be about what to expect.

Words from DFA Law
Commenting on the acquisition of Sharma Solicitors, Managing Partner Danny Roberts said “When learning of the tragic circumstances from the family, we were more determined than ever to try and make a deal work, and I am delighted that we have managed to do so.
The burdens of running a regulated legal practice are well known within the industry, and removing that alone felt the right thing to do, and this actually goes far beyond commercial reasoning.
We look forward to working with clients of Paul, some of whom became friends, and Sharma Solicitors for years to come.”
