Background Information

Gordon graduated from Leicester University in 2004. After gaining valuable work experience in Swindon, Leicester and Shanghai Gordon completed his Legal Practice Course at De Montfort University, Leicester.

Gordon is currently completing a seat in DFA Law's litigation department and he will qualify as a Solicitor in 2009.

Outside of work Gordon enjoys running, squash and badminton.

Nicola Berry

Background Information

Nicola graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2001. After a period of travel and 3 years working in industry Nicola completed her Graduate Diploma in Law in 2006 and subsequently her Legal Practice Course in 2007 at De Montfort University in Leicester. Whilst studying Nicola also trained and qualified as an advisor at the Northampton Citizens Advice Bureau.

Nicola joined DFA Law in 2007, and has completed seats in the litigation and family departments. Currently enjoying a varied workload in the corporate and commercial department - with a strong focus on employment law, Nicola will qualify as a solicitor in September 2009.

Alongside her formal training Nicola has also established good relationships with many local schools. With other trainees, she has prepared and presented careers talks to students at GCSE and A-Level age across the county. Nicola is also a “mentor” for De Montford University Law School, and has been the national representative for the Northants & Bucks Junior Lawyers Committee for the last two years.

Outside of work Nicola enjoys going to the gym and socialising with friends.

Background Information

Paul graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2006 and was awarded a commendation on completion of his Legal Practice Course at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice in 2007.  Paul has gained work experience in solicitors firms in Northampton and Sheffield.

Paul joined DFA Law in September 2007, is currently in his family law seat and will qualify as a solicitor in 2009.

In his spare time Paul supports Northampton Saints and Newcastle United and enjoys taking part in many sports, socialising and travel.
